Well this is an interesting split I bumped into whilst browsing bandcamp in a baffled semi-aware stupor - as I usually do. I'm glad I did though! The two artist's offerings here pack a lot of ideas and surprises into what are short wonky-electronica bons mots. I never imagined that I needed this music until I heard it, and now everything is at least 2 to 3% better because of it :3 Ben Harris

By spending a lot more time focusing on the fine details in this two track EP, CEAEL captures the spirit of earlier dnb releases by creating their tracks in singles format, making them stand out by themselves as well as compliment each other in a more encapsulated form.
Dawn focuses a lot more on putting its synths at the forefront and using percussion to compliment the melody, while Sweetness works with more muted tones, allowing for complex integrations of break editing. Very solid overall. Cardian Matsu
